Who We Are
The Centre for Instructional Support (CIS) is dedicated to helping advance positive change in teaching and learning across all schools and programs housed in the Faculty of Applied Science (APSC). Through our collaborative, caring, and evidence-based approach, we partner with faculty, staff, and academic units in the creation of opportunities, the exchange of knowledge, and in the enhancement of students’ educational experiences in APSC teaching and learning environments.

What We Offer
The services and support we offer includes, but is not limited to:
- Consultations in the development of teaching, student learning, and engagement strategies
- Teaching and learning-focused grant application consultations (i.e. TLEF)
- Teaching observations
- Course, curriculum, and assessment design and development
- Consultations on learning technology
- Canvas course management system support
- In-Class Online Exam (ICOLE) implementation
- Scantron processing
- Assessment design and review for accreditation-related data collection
