About
Sophie has worked in the UBC learning technology ecosystem since 1999. With her design and teaching technology background, she helped carry the weight of the LMS transition over several different migrations, supported faculty into using the teaching technology, and implemented wise use of technology in their classroom and online environment. She works with the Working Group Committee, which represents all members of all UBC Faculties and shares solutions and guidelines throughout the UBC community. She focused her work on faculty training, workshops, and one-on-one support sessions. Sophie is busy providing instructions and solutions to teaching faculty and managing the day-to-day business operations, advising, and representing members on learning technology issues.
