Steven supports faculty members of Applied Science with their use of educational technologies. He provides expert advice on technical problems encountered in the use of Canvas and other educational technologies. One of his main goals is to provide quick and effective support each time, so that faculty can continue to focus on providing their students with a positive learning experience.
Besides supporting faculty, Steven also supports his peers at the Centre for Instructional Support with the day-to-day functions. He documents support processes and procedures while always looking for ways to streamline and improve on efficiency. Whenever possible, he will develop Python scripts to help tackle the tedious and repetitive tasks in Canvas.
