Use this form to request support from the CIS team in areas such as:

Learning technology support (Canvas, Zoom, iPeer, etc.)
Course requests (creating, copying, or cross-listing a course)
Adding TAs or instructors
Adding auditors or course assistants
Booking an appointment
And much more!

PLEASE NOTE: This form is only for the Faculty of Applied Science. If you are under a different faculty, please contact your department’s Canvas admins and they will assist you with your request. An updated list of contacts can be found on the UBC Instructional Support Units page.

Add TAs or Instructors

Our office can only grant temporary 2-week access for TA and Instructor roles.

Students, Instructors, and TAs are automatically enrolled through UBC systems through SISC and timetable representatives. For full details about the process of adding TAs to Canvas see: Process for Adding TAs to Canvas

copy over a Canvas course; or
create a cross-listed Canvas course by merging multiple courses.
